At least in the Harris context, more TikTok would have probably been helpful.

So it's hard to say like what the, what would have been.

I have not seen any intelligence as it relates to TikTok.

I don't know anything.

So this is me just talking and sort of relaying the steel man of what I think.

But yeah.

The steel man, I think, of that version of the argument is sort of twofold, which is one.

The evidence points to China having real control over the platform and China having a vested interest in causing sort of civic and social discord on hot topic issues and therefore would –

have an advantage in disproportionately amplifying certain things that are hot topics as the Russians did in 2016 and, and, you know, yada, yada, yada.

And so having a platform that is dominant with young people that is controlled by and able to execute on the diplomatic interests of China is probably a bad thing.

I don't think that's a crazy position to hold.

I don't think the ban was good politics.

I don't think it was the right thing to do, but like,

And then you do talk to some people who are in the sort of foreign policy blob who say that like the, you know, the Intel is quite scary or whatever.

I don't know.
