Like the focus was on Kamala Harris basically right until the debate.
And then the debate happens and it is like an open fight for attention and in a cage with Donald Trump, who is the best at getting attention in the whole fucking world.
Yeah, we were not very good at that.
And so that's sort of what happened is the entire conversation about the election is about Donald Trump.
straight up at the end and i think conventional wisdom was like oh great if people are talking about how much donald trump suck or if donald trump is the thing it's a referendum on trump not a referendum on biden great but actually that's not how it worked and you know you found yourself in this position where yeah like trump sort of controlled the narrative down the stretch um in a way that made it again difficult to communicate through through sort of more traditional traditional methods
