That's a seven year waiting list for people with obesity.
kind of helps me along because I was in a very dangerous situation.
So I had the bariatric surgery in January, two years ago.
And since then I've lost 15 stone and I hopefully get to around 12 or 13 and finally be deemed normal weight for a man just over six foot.
Um, I'm 45, uh, well at my heaviest, the 31 stone and life has changed drastically since I used to have sleep apnea that's gone.
I can walk a hell of a lot more now, have more energy.
But the judgments, I'll never forget it.
Even now, I feel the difference in the way people treat me because I'm a normal looking guy.
I think people, and this could be just me, CiarΓ‘n, but I remember being on something years ago called Lipotrim, where I lost seven stone, but I put it all back on and then some.
But I remember even during that time, when I was single, that things became a little easier in that department.
Whereas before I lost the weight, it was very difficult.
And I think you're respected more by people because sometimes people look at you very judgingly.
And it's almost as if you feel that they're looking at you going, well, why would I respect him if he doesn't respect himself?
