It's no real surprise.
And you say, one of the top players in the world wants to leave Manchester United, run his contract down, whatever way you put it, and go to another big club in Europe.
Then we add into a fact it's fifteen, it becomes extraordinary.
But you you take all that into context, it's fairly powerful the course.
I was at Norwich and I was still at school.
I was sixteen and I was travelling with the first team.
And we went to West Brom on a Wednesday night and we lost five one in my first game involved.
And then travelled to Port Vale on the Saturday and lost six one.
And both trips I was cooking the meals on the way home was one of the main trips and but Norwich were broke at the time, so I was fast track, fast track, fast track because there was nobody else.
I don't think Manchester United are in the same position.
Andy, on the on the back of this, is it an overall picture for Manchester United as n not so much of as an embarrassment to lose him, but the message it sends to all the other kids involved in their academies?
It's a really good point from the club's perspective.
But then you put that from a player's perspective, a young player, saying we are getting traded off and pawned off by these clubs to balance books at the age of seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, and we've seen
Players move from Aston Villa to Chelsea back and forth.
Who knew they're going they they've not even played a first scene game or played two Carabao Cup games or how how they worth thirty million pounds or something like that for what is essentially teenagers or or kids.
And so when that filters through a club and when it filters through a dressing room
your attachment to the club that you grew up with, that you are being nourished by or nurtured by goes.
They don't care.
They call it pathway now, but it is the the number one thing is that route into the first team.
Doesn't matter at the level, supposedly.
