And I went to the draft, actually.
I was one of the invites to go to New York City.
And it was the first year ever where they were like, all right, we're going to invite guys out of the top 10.
We want like 20, 30 guys there, even if they go second round.
So my claim to fame is that I was the first guy ever to be in New York City to get drafted in the second round.
There's a couple of guys after me, at least.
At least I wasn't.
One of the last ones that would have been like, you know, that would that would have hurt a little bit.
But I'm like, yeah, I was at the draft.
You know, I sat there all through the first round and and I went second round the next day after.
And I celebrated like I was a wild maniac like I was.
But, you know, but my mom was like she saw that like that, you know, tense, you know, feeling in me that, you know, the disappointment that I didn't go first round.
And Jermaine Grisham was the first round tight end that year when he went to Cincinnati, you know, and I had a feeling that he was going to go there because I tried out for Cincinnati.
I had a little workout for them as well.
Private one.
And they kind of, you know, you know, tended to.
Let me know that they were going to lean more towards Jermaine, unless if I really impressed them, which I thought I did.
I had a good workout, but I was kind of bitter.
And my mom still says to this day, that was one of the only two times that she saw me mad, which I was.
