That's a great swing for them in the trajectory of their franchise, especially with how impressive they looked in the playoffs.
The Clippers kinda have to do both of those things though.
Like they have a Brandon Ingram, clearly, but they need the picks to supplement the deal.
Like they do need to reload the coffers in that way.

The deals you can conceptualize are like three moves away before you can even get to the move that actually changes what this team is.
Like they need to get the picks in the door.
They need to flip all of that into something more of value, whether they get a D'Aaron Fox or not and parlay a player like that into another deal down the line.
It's just like the chain of events that now needs to happen for the Clippers to be good.
