Remember the Olympics?
They came in and it was just awesome for the full two and a half weeks.
And then it just ended on that last day.
Ended with a bang.
Ended with Sidney Crosby scoring the golden goal in the closing ceremonies right after.
And then we were like, geez, what the hell hit us?

kind of came in with a bang but then there's kind of peaks and valleys right depends on like is there a game scheduled in vancouver that night is there not and then it kind of kind of ends with that last match at bc place and they take the branding off of they're already taking the branding off bc place and they closed down jackpool plaza i was there last night and saw that it's just like
you see like a fenced off area with a bunch of equipment and whatnot around there.
And, but like, you know, other things are still going on, right.
There's still the fan fest gravel street.
I think still going to be a vibe, uh, uh, this week until the final match.
Still got to go Olympics.
I don't know if anything can top that.
That was unreal.
Um, but this one, this one really, um, exceeded my expectations.
I, I, I had high expectations going in, but I didn't, I didn't foresee, um, the number of watch parties that we were going to see.
Like the, just like I didn't foresee gravel street being anywhere near what it was, um,
what it was going to be I mean think about like traditionally commercial drive was the place for like congregating during the World Cup and Euros and whatnot you know maybe Italy not being in it is took away a little bit of that steam but like
it's just not anywhere near, you don't have the, anywhere near the capability to celebrate like you do in on Granville street.
