How it looks and feels and sounds matters to the overall viewing experience.
And, yeah, I tend to agree.
Like, it was cool and just, like...
It was, I guess, just like a real soccer, like a real soccer atmosphere in the sense that, and from the Turkish fans especially, right?
The drumming, the chanting and whatnot throughout the game from like an enormous amount of people, but also just like Australia would get the ball and like the whole crowds, like all the Turkish fans are just whistling and it's like kind of this deafening, annoying whistle.
And...
But those are the sounds you hear when you watch the World Cup on television.
And that sound was most certainly at BC Place on Saturday.
Yeah, I do wonder about it in terms of... Now, they did say that they would open the roof when they're not playing.
So I wonder if you get those afternoon games, have the roof open all night, maybe get a bit of air in there.
Maybe.
I don't know.
The one element, though, that could prove to be an advantage for Canada is closing that roof makes BC Place just a little bit louder.
Maybe that gives them just an extra...
home field advantage perhaps um the wally buono i'd love to see yes the the game where it definitely should have been open was 9 p.m where there's not going to be any shadows right on a beautiful summery or you know not even summer yet but a beautiful vancouver evening felt like summer at least
Yeah, check their schedule for specifics, but generally Mondays and Tuesdays, I think until you get to the knockout rounds or not, they don't have the FanFest on.
