So these were people that were kind of anti-emo. Okay. So Rocky Votolato. Okay. I personally would consider my solo records more indie folk or singer-songwriter albums. But coming out of the punk and hardcore world and having so many friends related to that scene, I could see why some people might call it that. And that's fine with me as well.

So Damar told me in regards to plain white tees, I'd ask, is Jimmy world an emo band? Because that's what they sounded like when I first heard them. And they were a part of the DIY Chicago scene.

People really resonated with this question, which is what I liked. You know, it's great. I did like one or two and was like, let's see. And then I was like, oh, this is... Because I thought you would just get an answer back like, no, we're not emo.
