when Jim had gone to Paris, we had continued to practice and play almost every day.
And we had come up with a whole bunch of new songs that were gonna be on the next album.
And if Jim liked them.

Electra Records, Jack Holtzman, he was really cool about the whole thing.
he he says why don't you guys you know put out another record i you know everybody's gonna want miss jim and everything but you know i what in our contract we had two more albums to go okay so he says yeah let's do them you know let's let's keep keep it keep it going you know and um did you feel do you have any reservations you felt like let's just keep going
We did have reservations, you know.
I mean, you know, it's like the Stones are going on without Mick Jagger or something like that.
And maybe it was a stupid idea.
I don't know.
I don't know.
But I really love some of those songs that are on those albums.

That worked out probably.
Even then, when Ray and I decided to keep touring, it was pretty well received.
It was pretty damn cool.
I just wish John had come along, but he didn't want to.
