uh in different cities uh because they they chose franchising.

Well you know we're uh this this is uh this is interesting in the in the sense that one of the things that I have been charged with uh coming in and one of the plans I presented to the board and that was enthusiastically embraced was

Uh we need a uh you know, we need a culture uh at at IFA that embraces uh open dialogue uh with uh uh with all of the parties with whom we have to uh uh operate.

And uh while it is enormously frustrating and often feels insulting, uh

uh th uh b you know, it w having our uh uh industry and business model run over in a way uh by these federal regulations that aren't well thought out, that were not um put out in the form of regulations so that there could be advice and comment uh from the citizenry and the affected parties, but rather um just willy nilly court decisions

uh i it raises everyone's ire and hackles but it but it it is

required upon us to for cooler heads to prevail for the moment.

And to uh to engage in conversations, to see where the misunderstandings are

if there are any, uh and uh to to stand up for what is uh what is right.

And so, um I I I wanna say uh at the get go we have a number of um uh significant speakers that are coming to the convention.

uh politicians, state senators, uh uh

We have uh the uh National Labour uh uh relations board, uh uh Richard Griffin uh uh coming to speak at the board.

Uh we have Maria Contreras suite from the uh uh from the SBA um uh you know uh and and others coming in.

So we have uh

we are opening up

We are engaging in meetings with everyone from the Department of Labor to folks on Capitol Hill to meetings inside of the administration.

Uh uh thank you, uh shout out to Stan for helping uh uh thread the needle on that particular uh meeting uh last week at the White House.

uh I uh

you know, I I think we're utilizing resources and folks that we have to open uh uh new avenues of dialogue because
