They're very different.
They're different people.
They have different interests, different hobbies.
And Italy's that way, too.
The difference for me was, in my first experience in Europe...
I'm the luckiest son of a bitch in the world.
I had a back-to-back science fiction miniseries that was international and a horror movie within a year and a half that was also an international hit.
And
I was international, meaning people knew my name overnight.
And so I was there a lot.
And it's an interesting point of view.
In my first big, astounding, you know, thing that I recognized was
was the respect for horror as a genre in Europe.
It's right up there with gangster movies and film noir and the Western.
They probably like it even more than the so-called romantic comedy.
Well, it's not just that it's they recognize that the stylistic director can really show his stuff when he's working in the world of horror, fantasy and science fiction.
