But, you know, she's intrigued, and she meets him.
He falls in love with her, and he sees he's a filmmaker, a potential filmmaker.
There's a great actress right in front of him, and so the story develops.
Yeah, he films her in like a bubble bath on top of a building in Manhattan.
And with a number of other scenes, it almost becomes part of his showreel.
He then starts to tour this around the world, and he leaves Manhattan and her soon after, and he comes to Australia, and the showreel goes all around the world, and then he comes back to New York,
And she's almost unaware that this has been happening all around the world.
Yeah, in a way.
And then they start to make this film, this masterpiece that will be, and the film is called The Electric Hotel.
Well, it seems, and this is something about the book, there are moments where it seems a little bit improbable to me.
There's a few things.
The first one is the filming of his sister's death.
And the second one is the scope and size and complexity of this film.
I'm not a film historian, so I couldn't give you exactly what's happening with film around 1908.
But it's a very complex and big film going for an hour.
And the plot you've described, it's going to be this hotel with this consumptive woman in it who electrifies and kills men that come to stay at this hotel.
And so he's fallen in love with Sabine and he realises he has to...
at least on screen, try and vanish or kill the person that he desires.
And so he weaves his desire.
His story with her relationship with him goes into the film and she is going to die at the end of the film.
