The entry barriers for somebody to get into the dietary supplement space at this point are extremely low between Amazon and available suppliers overseas.
It's extremely low.
There's much more than the FDA can oversee or the FTC.
So they wait till somebody gets actually hurt before they take action Wow, so the vast majority of companies selling dietary supplements really could be selling chocolate bars You know, we don't know
Yeah.
And when you buy supplements on Amazon, I mean, I buy supplements on Amazon, but I'm pretty good.
I'm pretty diligent and discerning when it comes to like, I know what to look for when vetting a product on Amazon.
Otherwise it's like Russian roulette.
I would think for your average consumer, we call it Amazon roulette, which is why it makes so much sense not only to buy directly from manufacturers, but manufacturers that are reputable and that are, you know, I mean, maybe you can speak to what to look out for in terms of quality certifications.
There are no good quality certifications.
What about GMP?
Well, dietary supplements generally are not GMP.
And those that say they are usually are not telling the truth.
You don't have to be that level of grade.
You just have to be food grade in order to sell a dietary supplement.
Yeah, there's NSF certification, which is a legitimate entity.
And if you're going to sell it to any professional athletes, it has to be NSF certified.
So if you see that, that's a trustworthy label.
There are a few other companies.
There's one called Alchemist, which puts a label on there, which we think is a good, a reasonable company, at least for measuring whether what's on the label is actually in the bottle.
