and don't spend time actually saying this shit is actually really fucked up.
And we've got to show people that there has to be accountability.
People have to be accountable for the crimes they committed.

I think this is a moment where there has to be accountability.
That's exactly, I feel, as part of our role.

Well, look.
First, let me just say I think that there's a couple folks that are running that would be good governors.
And so Katie was the first person to endorse me when I ran for Congress, my first supporter.
We actually shared neighboring communities.

overlapping cities.
When I got to Congress, besides being my strongest supporter, she was immediately a mentor on oversight.
And when I got to the oversight committee, I honestly saw what she was doing and the way she'd grill CEOs, the way she fought really hard.
And I try to model a lot of what
I do in oversight off of what she taught me as a true mentor.
And so for me, the decision to support Katie was not hard.
But look, I think I've known Secretary Becerra, Tom Steyer.
