The tax man intruding on the private grief of hundreds of thousands of regular families every year right across the country.
It's the tax that Andy Burnham conspicuously refused to rule out yesterday.
A universal death tax.
A tax that he has been pushing for nigh on 20 years.
In a white paper as Health Secretary in 2010, in his first leadership bid in 2015, in 2021 at a fringe meeting, in the Makerfield by-election, everything was on the table.
And as the Prime Minister says, difficult decisions are coming.
He's ruled out plenty of other taxes, but he won't, he can't, he will not rule out the death tax.
Would she agree that it was unwise of the government to heavily reduce the security offered to the member for Clapton, given all that we know about his particular danger that is posed to him and to his family?
Would she agree that, frankly, it shouldn't have taken the murder of Anne for him to be offered a meeting with the committee?
And that many will conclude, perhaps unfairly, but nonetheless,
that it is only because of the political views of the member for Clacton that he is placed in this position?
And will she use her power as Home Secretary to make sure that the security that he and his family needs is put in place immediately?

armed police arrived and the guy was arrested it turned out he was known to authorities what the hell were they letting someone known to authorities who had been sectioned before who they immediately sectioned when they arrested why are they allowing him to roam literally right outside the carriage gates what's the point of hundreds of armed police inside the parliamentary estate if they're not doing the job properly just outside the estate
On Friday, the police said that there was nothing to suggest Anne Widdicombe's murder was politically motivated.
Nigel Farage, not unreasonably, questioned that judgment because it didn't quite pass the smell test.
For having the temerity to question the police's judgment, there was a big pile on from the political establishment.
