So the idea is that words pejorative words like kike have a content which has at least c two or three parameters.

One is a parameter uh that there is uh a moral ought involved in its meaning.

The second is an evaluation, and it's a negative moral evaluation, and thirdly it's directed towards some group.

So one could perhaps find uh a more appealing locution, but the way I tend to think about it is that what a word like hype means, or if we are to use some philosophical jargon, what it senses, is something like X ought to be the target of negative moral evaluation all because of being a Jew or African American or

or gay, I mean whatever it happens to be that that group designator is.

So I think what's important, and maybe we'll come back to this later, is that I take it that these words, their meanings, have moral content, and that they contribute that meaning to the overall meaning of the sentences in which they occur, and hence those sentences also have moral content.

So, in this view, it's what is known as a view of moral realism that this content will be.
