Is that it doesn't seem to model what at least some democratic theorists think's uh is really important for democracy, which is self-authorship, right?
It it looks as if um the lotocratic body is will will always issue sort of policy decisions and pol and policies even, where um the majority of citizens can't tell any story about
their involvement in creating uh the policy, at least in electoral representative democracy as we're um as we know it.
people get to tell some ki I mean, I don't think it's a very compelling story myself, but you know, th that you know, I voted for the representative who made the decision that wound up, you know, making its way into policy is is is an important thing for for some people apparently.
And Litocracy doesn't sort of model that.
Is that a problem?

So Alex, you've been really d generous with your time.
Um
And I wanna make sure that we we we get to the end of the book because um uh I found it very powerful actually.
It closes with a very clear eyed sort of engagement.
uh with the question of how one might transition or how a society might might transition from electoral democracy to a lotocracy.
Um I appreciated the chapter because it lays out some I what looked to me like very sensible uh
uh philosophical ideas about large scale political change as such.
Um so i can you tell us a little bit just sort of about that that that general view that you lay out at the end of the book about sort of sweeping political change.
Well, that um
All that seems right to me for what that's worth.
So um, but Alex, you know, it it's it's uh we've we're we're at the end of our time.
