Absolutely.

Silence didn't solve any problem and inaction never solved any problem.

And I think that's the hardest part for people, particularly coming off the summer holidays.

Everyone's waiting for the dreaded bill to come in and it might go in the drawer.

And we've all done it and it's fine.

It's human nature.

But by putting it in the drawer, it doesn't deal with it.

So taking it out, acknowledging it, dealing with it, you will be much better off.

Yeah, I think you just need to be careful.

Like, God knows the TikTok and Instagram are full of great ideas and it looks great.

But first and foremost, don't forget that the primary driver of your capacity to pay down your debt is your day job.

So if you take on a side hustle job and for whatever reason it impacts on the day job, well, then that's not really a side hustle.

You're just creating another problem.

I think if you do have the capacity, like there's loads of examples, people who do shift work, and maybe they do long days, so they could do three or four days a week.

So to have the physical capacity to take an extra day, fine, but understand that that takes its own physical and mental impact.

But if it's a way of, it's a short-term solution to get yourself out of a short-term problem, by all means, lean into it.

But be very, very conscious of taking the side hustle.
