So another reason I think people are gonna take issue with this this one is that apart from believing that the cure is untouchable, is that this does exactly what that Beastie Boys cover does.
It's not just that it slows it down, uh, you know, or takes this up tempo pop song and turns it into a you know a quiet or acoustic song.
It's that it changes the whole vibe and meaning of the song.
Sure.
This pulls out all that unit.
uncertaint of youth, uh particularly in this case, Young Love.
And I really do think it's a great song.
I've never been much of a cure fan, but I think Robert Smith wrote a great song.
I love the lyrics.
