Yeah.

Uh I mean this is I think I I think I can see now why people are still recommending his book.

Because some of these things are still now told to traders all the time that you need to develop a sense for things and the market will smack you in the face and y you you're wrong.

The market is always right.

And you also learnt uh that you do need to essentially play the cards you you dealt, but I wait for for when you have a great hand.

I think there's this other quote from Reminiscences I I've dug out here.

What beat me is not having the brains enough to stick to my own game.

That is to play the market only when I was satisfied that the precedents favoured my play.

There is a plane fool who does the wrong thing at all times everywhere, but then there is a Wall Street fool who thinks he must trade at all times.

So he actually becomes you know, he's a quite quick trader, but he he calms down a little bit and waits for the the big ones to go.
