I just didn't get it.
Oh, absolutely, Brendan.
When I went into a pub, I was 13 years of age at the Stanley Bath are in.
And it was the best life experience in education.
I would recommend that people say it's a bad environment for a 13 year old.
Back then, you could see everything from the uneducated to the educated to the rogues.
to the, whatever, every single facet of life would come through that door and you would observe it, learn from it and try to, you know, not, you know, how can I say, not copy certain things.
No, I learned so much.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, that's what I look good.
And I ran a barrel when I was 17.
I ran the tap in North King Street when I was 17 years of age for Tom Darwin.
And you could see coming through the door, you could weigh people fairly quick.
You know, I remember one man come in when I was only starting, lovely man, and he said to me, I'll have a bottle of Stout and a double Jemisin.
And he sat by the door and I went down, gave it to him and he said, oh, get me ten sweet after and so on, will you?
I turned to go up and get the sweet after and I turned around, the bottle of Jemisin was gone and the bottle of Stout was half gone, he'd gone out the door.
So you leave, you leave.
You know, who to trust, who not to trust.
And then you could have the rogue that come in, who you could trust, who would pay his bill at the end of the day.
So, no, Brendan, it was a brilliant experience.
