It's a different deal than people saying that the NFL tanked Shador's draft stock
or what have you to get him to be a fifth round pick, even though I will agree that it was nuts to take Dylan Gabriel above.
I am going with... Obviously, there is the G5 receiver tandem of Danny Scudero and Skylar Bell, who led the nation in receiving.
But I'm going to take the player who I voted for, the Heisman, and it's Jeremiah Love.
Jeremiah Love, who had...
who had what could have been a truly transcendent season.
If a Notre Dame was literally a worse football team and he played more football in the games in which they were killing everybody or, and, or he wasn't in a carry share with Darian price, who was also tremendous and will probably be in the NFL as well.
Um, it was a really cool season for love off the field as well.
Uh, he had a really, uh, emotional story that came out in, uh, college game day, about halfway through the season where his parents revealed that he, uh,
is on the autism spectrum and sort of became a care card carrying banner awareness for that as well off the field for Jeremiah Love so Jeremiah Love two years in a row has been absolutely transcendent I mean you watched him in the college football playoff last year when he had a knee injury and he promised Marcus Freeman not to hurdle and then he had a sick play in the in the playoff game
that they had in Miami last year.
So Jeremiah Love's tremendous.
And yeah, it's sort of a lifetime achievement award for him to be here, but he stands on his own merit as a truly tremendous college football player.
He would not be there if Mendoza had not rolled out to Indiana.
Absolutely.
That's the only thing you need to know about the 2025 college football season.
Are we going to get this done?
Are we expected to get this done?
Who's we?
Stars and stripes.
