Um but there is sort of this when when you start looking at distributions of of forecast, um uh the job numbers is is quite quite a wide range. voice-verified

You know, some are expecting a a rise of one hundred and twenty five, others are expecting a decline of um minus ten or minus seven thousand. voice-verified

Um so it's a so it's a significant significant range. voice-verified

Uh when you look at unemployment rate though, um there is almost voice-verified

Almost, you know, the the average or the me the median is four point one and change, but actually there's a significant amount of uh forecasts saying that it's going to rise to four point two. voice-verified

So uh there's a bias there maybe for the unemployment rate to rise based on on the forecast. voice-verified

Um what what is also interesting is that um Bloomberg put this analysis and and highlighted how uh since nineteen ninety voice-verified

uh August uh numbers tend to tend to have a bias of around seventy percent to um to print on the downside um with a a surprise number of of of of a revision if you like or an impact relative to estimates of thirty. voice-verified

If that's the case, you know we could we could get potentially a negative print. voice-verified

And then they'll go over to to emphasize that the Fed has never hiked. voice-verified

Uh when they've had two consecutive negative job numbers uh in front of them. voice-verified

So um I think that uh you know uh Kevin Walsh last week um really emphasized the focus on inflation and and sort of calmed uh he was calm about sort of the the labor market. voice-verified
