You know, what if you, Jacqueline, wanted to have impact with your investments?

Not just, you know, receive monetary uh rewards and do that at a at a level of risk, but you wanted it to have impact.

Can we measure impact and does that begin to do something that we can now build portfolios?

that accommodate that in a new way.

So it felt like it was just a major expansion.

of what it meant to be an asset manager, the numbers and types of assets you could weave into client portfolios, and hopefully create better solutions for clients that would allow them to be, you know, sticky long-term clients in a number of different ways.

That's what really began to that's what I had a vision for.

And seemingly that that's kind of what's what's what is really unfolding as we ke get deeper and deeper into this.

infrastructure replacement, the traditional capital market infrastructure beginning to be replaced by blockchain infrastructure.

Um, it probably expands the journey that has been happening now for twenty plus years in the expansion of a number of private assets that are capable.

You know, we hear about, you know, private credit, private equity, a number of type of things.

It begins to expand the opportunities of those.

You know, I I think a um

A a good business partner of mine at Franklin Templeton many years ago had worked for a period of time with a one of the uh the US's largest pension plans.

And he said that that pension plan had um had uh

contracted with Google to come in and say

You know, what type of assets are we missing?

And and uh effectively this pension plan sees every investment opportunity on planet Earth because of its size.

And Google had uh determined that of all of what you could consider assets on planet Earth across the globe

that likely that this pension plan specific pension plan was probably only seen half of those assets.
