They said probably the best game that I've ever pitched was, uh, and I think Bob Costas was calling it because when I did some work last week for NBC, Sunday night baseball, Costas brought it up.

The game I pitched in Seattle against a Mariners team, I think won 114 games, something like a crazy.

So they were pretty solid and they were rolling pretty good.

So, uh, I pitched one of my best playoff games ever against those cats.

And, uh,

But, yeah, I mean, it was, I mean, there's, you know, I feel real blessed and fortunate, man.

So I played 24 years.

So I faced guys like, I mean, I hope you guys remember some of them, Don Baylor, Kingman, Luzinski, Fisk, George Brett, Kyle Ripken.

I mean, I faced Ripken so many times.

He's got eight different batting stances.

And there's nothing I can throw.

One out man on third, and I'm trying to get him to punch out or hit a ground ball.

Next thing you know, he spreads out.

And so you're paying attention to detail.

And my catchers, same thing I asked them to do, pay attention to detail when guys make a little adjustment.

And then go all the way through to guys like Pujols and, you know, all these other dudes I end up facing at the tail end of my career.

So it was pretty cool to face them.

My favorite –

I wanted to make it to the big leagues, face Reggie Jackson.

Yeah, yeah.
