And uh the strategy game uh Gears Tactics hoarded seven thousand three hundred and fifty one players.
Totally forget that game exists, by the way.
Actually, I'm really interested in playing that.
And the previous record holder, Gears 5, peaked with just over 10,000 people.
It's also worth noting that the Gears War E Day beta is currently in early access, meaning it's only available to players who have pre ordered the game or Game Pass Ultimate subscribers who wouldn't have access to the Steam version anyway.
So basically, all of these are just people that have pre ordered the game.
Uh putting up the series best uh
Numbers before the general public s had a chance to shotgun chunk uh chunks of meat off subterranean alien bugs is a very good sign for the prequels prospects.
Uh the game comes out uh in full on October sixth on Series X and S PC and Game Pass Ultimata.

Yeah, because we also have the open beta coming out in uh August thirteenth to seventeenth, which you can see see those numbers go crazy from there.
Um yeah, I don't I think that there's hype for this one.
I think that there's an energy for Gears of War E Day right now that there wasn't for Gears of War four or five.
Um I I I don't know how big it's going to be in terms of like the real number that they that Xbox wants and probably needs for a team like uh the coalition to kind of thrive and continue to make games like this.
But I I do feel that energy of like, okay, we're back.
