So in retrospect, what we did was within two hours, our teams went to that place, set up

A laser link which powered like almost 20 gigabits per second, and we bridged that break effectively in two hours, restoring internet to 50 villages downstream.

So that's the difference, right?

Even when telcos partner with certain people, now we can do the same from space, right?

As our space network kind of comes up, telcos can take our optical ground station and then put it somewhere that allows them to quickly switch over to a much higher bandwidth.

While Starlink is growing.

great for first responders and very quickly getting on the side.

When they really need to restore connectivity to a larger base, they have to find another partner.

And it's again comes down to which tool works for what use case effectively.

There's also obviously a very clear sense of dread by the telcos because now you have SpaceX like because of Elon's brand and SpaceX's brand, everyone knows it.

and they have started offering direct to sell.

Now their experience is gonna be significantly worse than your normal telco because you're getting it beamed from a cell tower which is five hundred kilometers away.

But

Everyone's gonna try it.

So every telco in every country is going to lose some percentage of their subscribers in the short term to Starlink until maybe six months later these subscribers realize the internet sucks, but that will still do the damage.

So there is a growing concern of how do they continue to make sure that such customers don't walk away.
