And that's the difference between franchise lending and non franchise lending is we have all of this performance history out there
in like brands and like geographies.

I don't know how many franchisers out there know that they can make a supplemental it item nineteen disclosure based on geography.
Uh that helps bankers, it also helps prospect the franchisees.
So there's a lot of ways and a lot of tools out there
to communicate that information.
But again, if your franchisees aren't making money, it doesn't really matter.
And then maybe you should look at your business model and maybe you shouldn't be growing.
Well, hopefully you have some corporate units that you ran before you started franchising.

And and you have the
the P and L's and the a and and the performance history of those corporate units.
Um, you you shouldn't really
expect your franchisees to be able to walk into a bank and get a loan based on your performance history of two units for eight months.
I see that all the time with start up franchise companies.
If you're gonna sell a franchise to one of
Yeah, if you're going to sell a franchise to somebody at that point and I'm not going to debate, you know, whether you should be doing that or you shouldn't.
Um they've really got to have the cash.
Um you you can't expect any debt to happen.
