Really, this is pinned to the media deal that the Preakness people are going to be making for a contract that expires this year.
So whatever TV partner they get next year is going to have a lot to say about that.

The game's changing.
I mean, just because Mott and Godolphin skipped the Preakness doesn't mean it's the last time that'll happen.
In fact, Rich Strike in 2022 skipped the Preakness after winning the Derby.
So if it keeps happening at some point, you've got to quit beating your head against a wall and maybe just say, all right, come on in and make it a three-week gap.
