I had no business experience, right?
I wasn't afraid to make cold calls.
That first 10 years, I was making 80 cold calls a day.
So five days a week.
So 400 calls a week, maybe 1,600, 2,000 calls a month, 20 plus thousand calls a year.
Wow.
And I was just calling people, hey, can I speak for your conference?
Can I speak for your conference?
Can I speak for your conference?
Can I speak for your conference?
And it was a little bit different of a sales pitch than that.
But also, you know, I didn't know what I didn't know.
I didn't know that it's better when somebody else is saying, hey, you should have Ron White.
He's a great presenter, right?
But I just went through it and I just made the phone calls.
You know, people today, they'll ask me, they'll say, Ron, they want to be a speaker.
And they'll say, Ron, tell me, tell me, I want to do what you do.
How did you do this, where you speak?
And I said, well, I got leads.
I made call 80 a day.
