So much time has gone by.

Oh, my God, I remember that version of my kid, this version of my kid, this version of my kid.

And you start to go, oh, that kid is still in my kid.

But, my God, I wish I could go back and talk to that version.

Yeah, but I don't... I wouldn't do that.

I wouldn't do that.

But I see it as I go, oh, it's so fun knowing that that kid is still in there.

And when you say it kind of applies to your own childhood or you think about your own childhood and stuff, you know, it is strange.

As I watch my child grow up, I do realize, like,

oh, all of those versions of my youth are still a part of my psyche.

And as a younger version of me,

would have thought it's so cheesy and stupid to say to your self, your inner child, your younger self, like, it's okay.

Like, I just think like, that's gone.

But I kind of now I'm like, oh, there's some health in that, whether you really believe that you're connecting with some younger version of you or not, it's kind of great to out loud verbally be like,

You went through some hard shit, but we're still standing and I got you and we're good.

And I now see the benefit in that.

And I also see the benefit in communicating to your kid, hey, it's okay to kinda watch out for yourself and make sure you communicate with yourself.

We're on the same team here.

Let's not beat ourselves up.

Let's not be negative to ourself.
