Yeah, then I can build the house.

It really is like, so kind of going back.

100%, 100%.

But I, you know, that's why I kind of have this obsession with process, and I just have this kind of faith in it for it to work and be like, all right, I do have to, you know, I won't lie.

I mean, there's a lot of weight and responsibility of knowing that in my home, I am the sole breadwinner, and so I do need to, like,

provide, but I also have a job that doesn't have security, and so I have to live or die by these choices.

And, you know, I was at a point in my career, stand-up-wise, where, you know, not even that long ago, maybe a year, year and a half ago, even after an HBO special coming out, where I was like, okay, here we go, and I started going back to do some clubs.

And we were having to cancel one, maybe two, out of five shows because no one was buying tickets.

And I was saying to my agent and my team, I was just like, I go, this is kind of crazy to me.

I go, I'm further along than I've ever been.

I think my standup is sharper than it's ever been.

I love the special I just put out.

I don't know what...

is happening to where people aren't coming out to the shows.

And I kind of was getting to a place where I go, you know what, maybe this is just as far as I get.

It plateaus here, and I keep doing it, and I do X amount of numbers in X amount of cities, and I'll just start logging what that money is so I can start knowing what is my potential take of the year in just stand-up.

And then a guy who's now become a close friend

asked if he could take over my social media stuff, saying that the whole problem was that I don't know how to market or promote.

And I said, you absolutely can, because I have no clue how to do it.

I don't want to do it.
