And arguably, I wouldn't even say arguably, their most significant move of the day was a buying move, which not many people would have predicted heading in.

I think conceptually, again, the idea of buying and selling, the idea of stocking some pitching depth, and that had been such a problem this season and looked pretty questionable heading into 2027.

There were some, I don't know, missions, objectives met by what they did.

Then when you kind of get into the trades individually, a lot of them feel a little bit uncomfortable.

I mean, the team is worse, right?

You could make a case, Gosman versus Soriano.

That's an interesting conversation to have.

I think Josh Smith is someone who actually will do something valuable for the team going down the stretch.

Not a super exciting player, but someone who fills a gap.

But then, you know, Varshow goes out.

There isn't a replacement unless they push Bateman here.

And Hoffman had been really good for a couple of months.

Now, Spencer Miles, I think, will kind of backfill his innings.

We might not feel that absence so much, but it's not like they brought in a great reliever to replace Hoffman.

It's a downgrade, but it's not as much of a downgrade as you normally get in this type of situation.

I mean, it was, it was a pretty shocking deal.
