Yeah, thanks, Jeff.

You know, we try not to, we try to do what's best for the long-term health.

And obviously that doesn't mean just, you know, always think about the future and it doesn't mean thinking about,

human beings and players as assets, but it's a fierce competition of 30 teams trying to do everything they possibly can to beat one another.

And sometimes you do have to take a measured step, and sometimes that step is slightly back or flat.

Fans definitely influence that on some level, but the biggest influence they have is coming, and that support generates the ability to continue to provide the best resources.

The best resources are players, and the best resources are payroll for our team, and our ownership's been incredible.

Our fans have been incredible.

We have...

you know, elite resources.

And that makes it all the more painful for me when we don't hit the mark.

Yeah, and Kevin, I laughed because I know how true it is.

I experienced it myself.

I have stories that are similar.

And it is very difficult.

It's interesting because you never –

think that you're going to experience big emotions.

You never, you know, are preparing or planning for these heartfelt exchanges of whether it's gratitude, celebration, disappointment.

And, you know, the ones that you think about are the ones of elation of jumping up and down on the mound, celebrating relationships or championships or, you know, spraying champagne.

You envision those.
