Catholicism, which has, I think it's fair to say, a stronger and deeper intellectual tradition than evangelical Christianity in the US, has just become like a kind of natural attractor for a lot of people who are like looking for looking for a harbor, looking for a place to land, looking to convert or revert or anything else. voice-verified

You know, Catholicism is still struggling as a mass institutional religion, right? voice-verified

And evangelicalism is still thriving relative to Catholicism. voice-verified

I I mean, one argument you could make is that under sort of digital conditions, under sort of internet conditions, which are hard on they're hard on things that don't have a clear definition that are sort of just based on kind of loose voice-verified

So they've been really hard on like denominational Protestantism, on people who are like, well, I'm a Methodist because my parents were a Methodist, or I'm a Presbyterian because I like the pastor, and so on. voice-verified

And they've been good for, in different ways, sort of stronger brands. voice-verified

And in a way, Christianity sort of polarizes into the strong brand of like liturgical religion, of which Catholics voice-verified

And then kind of the strong brand of mass market seeker-sensitive, you know, come for our amazing, our amazing praise music concert. voice-verified
