So, you know, the consumer price index, but it excludes energy and food prices.

And so when we see an increase in the prices of energy, whether that's gasoline, diesel, etc., that directly translates into higher energy costs and therefore is reflected in higher headline inflation.

But in the core measure of CPI, the core inflation measure, that component is excluded.

And so that's why you do not see that direct impact from higher oil prices on core inflation.
