Even if a lot of the narrative and the plotting is not working for me, I do think seeing someone like Porna Jagannathan getting this type of like really meaty, fascinating, prickly role as the wife of this militia leader played by Garrett Delhunt, that's really fun.

When all of the Green Lantern lore stuff is not working for me, is just seeing actors who feel very confident in their characters getting the opportunity to play off of each other.

That really is not always the case with a lot of these shows.

Who it seems like is really comfortable with their characters and with really taking them to strange, wacky places.
And I have to give the show credit for that.
