I'll credit to her for what she accomplished in Congress.
She wielded power very effectively.
She was very good at working the system and working with a range of political opponents and getting things done.
But then there came a point where it was just like, wait, why are you still running for senator when you're worth like $300 million?
Right.
And you're in your 80s.
Making decisions.
Absolutely.
And I imagine the younger politicians must feel very stymied.
And resentful, but eventually they seem to all get in line.
Not all of them, but many of them are just seem to be like, I guess some my day will come and then I too can hoard power and stay in office way too long.
And that lesson is being learned over and over again.
But nothing is being taken away from it.
People are just like, oh, well, maybe it won't happen next time.
And then it happens again.
You know, RBG, what a way to, like, she truly did accomplish amazing things.
Not a perfect person, but she accomplished a lot.
She was, she broke ground for women in law.
Time and time again.
