yeah a little bit not too much because there was so much rugby on all the time but during our off weeks the the times that i did get to travel i had one of my really good mates who lived up in london so she actually came down and saw me heaps so we just cruised around like the wider bristol area we're really close to wales so went over to wales loved that place um and then went over to ireland as well i actually never been so had a few guinnesses traveled around
Did a few brewery and whiskey tours.

Yeah, no, it was cool.
Keen to go back up to explore Scotland.
I really liked the people.
Yeah, yeah.
Learning, I don't know, maybe just my ignorance.
Just thought the UK was the UK and everyone was the same.
you know, from England to Wales, over to Ireland and the Scottish, they're all just so different.
And rightly so.
So yeah, I found that really cool.
And another really cool thing actually about playing in that competition is that here at home, we mainly only play with Kiwis, but up there they've got players from all across the UK.
There was myself and a couple of Canadians as well.
So just connecting and learning about different cultures.
But also understanding like the different landscapes and the unions as well was very interesting and collaborating with them.
We never get that opportunity here at home, right?
Because we're all from the same team and we're all under the same union.
So that was actually really cool being able to chat with them about what things look like for them off the field and how that impacts them on the field.
Yeah, probably not as much as I would have liked.
