In late 2024, you called out body shaming that was personally sent to you by raising your Guernsey and pointing to your stomach after kicking a goal.

It's a very, very passionate photo and looks like you got a lot of emotion in that moment.

Take me back though to the message that you received.

I'm not sure on what platform or what it was, but how did you feel that day when you read that message?

In your DMs.

It's just shocking to me that people are worrying about the way you look whilst you're playing AFLW and why we're commenting on anybody's body at the end of the day.

It's just awful.

Do you think that men that play in the AFL are held to the same standards?

Yeah, your third life lesson, which extends itself to this conversation, is talent opens the door but discipline keeps you there.

And when you say you're doing the work, what do you mean by that?

Oh, they said that with you, yeah.

Back to that game when you did pull up your jersey afterwards, what was the support like from your teammates?

Do you think since that moment there has been a change and a shift about any comments that are coming towards women that are playing in AFLW that are derogatory?

Yeah.
