And I was like, shit, that's, that's how I
I don't go and work a cleaning job for minimum wage and just save as much as I can and then go and do it.
I build a business around this.
But it was my first sort of time really thinking about it.
So I'm going through the motions with it all.
But I think the one...
thing that was the most important to me at the time and that was one of the biggest reasons that it was successful is that I really believed in the vision and I sold the vision to people that could come and help and that was like if there was nothing else I could do that was like my job was like
to tell people, right, I'm going to be the first person to run the Nank for Africa, we're going to raise a million pounds for charity, and we're going to make content that's going to inspire a bunch of people to go and get after their own life, take on the adventure of their lives in the meantime.
I need you, the videographer, you, the editor, you guys are fundamental, I need you, and together we're going to be a part of something that's like...
amazing so yeah I mean it was really selling that vision to but I mean the boys came in at the start they were just like they're just starting off in their own careers you know so I was pitching to the right people I wasn't trying to get after your crew that had been you know cushy jobs in London happy days they don't need it I need people cushy jobs guys would you say your jobs are cushy you don't know what we're paying them I needed I needed people that were like me that needed the opportunity they wanted to make something of their lives um
So that's, you know, selling that vision to the team was like, that was huge.
And then once we had, once we started getting help in, it was like, right now we're really starting to build some momentum now, you know.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
I was becoming wiser.
That's, you know, that's... And it takes time.
It takes time.
Yeah, that's it.
You can't, you just have to, you know, it's like you said, you pay for the experience with failure.
So you just fail, fail, fail, fail, fail.
