But the main reason that it's not great is because it's not true, right?

Like, who's up next?

If you go through the Cubs order when this happens, you're like, oh, well, who is up next?

And you start looking at it, and you're like, wait a minute.

That doesn't seem to be as palatable as... That seems to be much more palatable than pitching to Nico Horner.

Here's why.

Up next was Michael Bush, who was 0-4 in that game with a strikeout.

Up next is Alex Bregman, who could ground into a double play, not fleet a foot.

So...

You load the bases by walking the next two guys.

I don't know if you knew who was up, but that was the pitcher spot there.

Caleb Dillbard come in after Scott Kingering in a double switch.

So I was trying to figure out to what end?

To what end, Carlos Mendoza?

Yeah, that's bad.

And for a team that is going as bad as the New York Mets are, it's very fitting.

I am a little bit surprised.

Not a lot, because I know it's not 100% on him.

I wouldn't even say the majority of this is on him.
