Best, most accurate comp for Murakami.
Is it Jim Tomey, Adam Dunn, or Kyle Schwarber?
Jim Tomey's in the Hall of Fame, so I don't think that's fair.
Adam Dunn...
actually had a really solid career like if you go and look back at that those early reds i was there numbers for him it wasn't like he was hitting 205 with 40 homers like he was when he was on the white socks like he was hitting like 260 270 280 in some of those years um
That's probably, if it continues on this trajectory, the closest comp.
I think the thing for Munataka Murakami that is very important, that I think has helped him, is he seems to have a really, really good command of the strike zone.
He's walking over 20% of the time.
And when you have a walk rate that's high,
that's a very productive player when it comes to getting on base and being able to score runs like getting on base at a 380 clip which he is right now and you combine that with over 600 slug and you're a 900 ops guy that's going to get it done seven days out the week i think it's it's it's really hard to stay at those levels right only the best players in baseball can stay there but when guys are able to have a command of the strike zone and walk i think that's really important
Strike an L 30% of the time, that's a lot, but you've got to take the good moments that you have right now if you're the Chicago White Sox.
There's an opportunity cost to life.
On pace to hit 59 bombs.
I'm good with it.
I'm good with it.
You've got to get your number, Marshall.
I know you're happy.
You already know.
