Yeah, the issue there is the Twins have also lost four in a row after getting swept over the weekend by the Reds, so...
If you can't get right against them, you're probably not going to get right, and that's fine.
Russ, it was a Munataka-Morikami kind of weekend for the White Sox, but I think the most heartening thing was... Homer Barrage, Groats.
So we talk about him, but I also thought it was just sneaky, so important that Noah Schultz kind of got his bleep back together after a shaky opener where he goes five innings, allowed one run, struck out six, and one walk in a White Sox 7-4 win.
Yeah, I think we all saw a guy that was making his debut on Tuesday against the Rays, right?
Like, hearts beating out of your chest.
You're pitching at home.
You have all of Oswego in the stands there rooting for you, family and friends.
And so you can understand, you know, why that first inning went the way it went.
And to his credit, he was able to kind of calm himself down and get into the fifth inning of that game and pitch four and a third.
yesterday showed me all right you don't have all those other factors you don't have all of us away go out in west sacramento against the a's now you can kind of go through your normal routine without all the fanfare and go out there and just pitch and that's what you saw out of him and so
I think for Noah Schultz, you're like, OK, I can pitch in the big leagues and be effective in a ballpark, guys.
That is is not an easy one to pitch in, even for veteran starting pitchers.
Like ask Luis Severino how it's been trying to pitch in Sacramento for the last couple of years.
Ball flies there.
And so for him to be able to come back after that first start pitch as effectively as he did yesterday is a really good sign for him.
We've got to let you go in a moment, but real quick.
