surfing with the team the directions that they go in the draft and so that part's fun as grody knows i love it when the draft ends because all of the off-season roster speculation and the guessing games on who's going to be here and who's going to not be here are pretty much over you're you're like 95 of the way to having your roster ready to go to training camp and that that part's fun because then you can just start analyzing the actual team that they have assembled instead of playing all these games about who they might or might not have

But on the serious side of things, Dan, we've of course got the news that you guys are reporting out there that Darnell Wright, they had the fifth year picked up on his contract.

No duh.

We knew it was going to happen.

How much is he going to get a proper extension sometime soon as well or just wait and see?

Yeah, I mean, that's the first step in the process, right?

You exercise that fifth year option.

And remember, that changed a couple years ago to, you know, there used to be little risk in exercising the fifth year option.

And then in the latest CBA, that becomes guaranteed.

The fourth year becomes guaranteed on the contract and everything goes from there as well.

And so this is a step in the right direction.
