So human nature would say that that's BS.
But I think when you really think about it and you think about how every generation has their own.
For one generation, it was Bill Russell.
For another, it was Kareem.
For another, it was Michael.
For another, it was Kobe.
For another, it was Shaq.
For another, it was LeBron.
Whatever your criteria is... Did you say Shaq is the GOAT?
That was from position.
There are people that say...
that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the GOAT and I won't hear anything else.
There are people that say LeBron is the GOAT and I won't hear anything else.
There are people that say Mike is the GOAT and I won't hear anything else.
And if you were born and raised in that generation, you're likely gonna have your arguments for why.
And so I think Mike is right in every generation watched their version of the quote unquote GOAT.
In 25 years, I don't know what kids are going to be saying is the GOAT.
They might say Kevin Durant.
No.
As the guy who is most likely used as the answer for the GOAT, I don't mind him being pragmatic and being like, you know what?
