We got to put on a show.
Oh, my goodness.
A lot of fun.
But the challenge was huge because, I mean, being sports fans growing up in Chicago, man, we were big sports fanatics and we understood what the McDonald's All-American game meant to sports, to basketball, and to the culture.
And so when we got the opportunity to tell a story, you know, we're talking about big brands are involved.
You've got Roc Nation is supporting us on the film.
We had McDonald's, of course, and then we got the distributor with Amazon.
So this is a lot of big, you know, stakeholders involved that we really had to make sure all came together to get the story out correctly.
But once we hit the ground running, especially filming the legends,
it was incredible.
You know, all the people we grew up watching, we got to finally like kind of connect in person and they all like, you know, they met the legacy properly of living up to what we always grew up knowing them to be.
Oh, my goodness.
So we have Amari Bailey we followed, as well as Derek Lively, who was at Duke, who was going to Duke at the time.
And now he's in the NBA playing for the Mavericks.
And then we had Janiya Barker, who was a top, you know, girl player that year, who transferred a lot in her college career within college.
You know, she's, I think, in Tennessee now.
And then as well, Flage Johnson, who was not on our radar at the time, but Roc Nation's involvement actually brought Flage to the table.
And, wow, incredible, incredible woman who is like a star.
As soon as we saw her, we was like, oh, yeah, she's a future star.
Get the cameras rolling.
