Paramount Skydance have made an offer.
The details are not public, but it's rumoured to be $20, $24 a share.
Warner Brothers Discovery over the weekend have said, not enough, which given that its shares were trading at $5 in the spring and $12 before the deal came out, you could argue it was a bit rich.
But the Warner Brothers boss, David Zaslav, known dealmaker, has shareholders.
He'll clearly be looking to maximise value.
So we'll see.

There are rumors of Amazon and Netflix sniffing about Warner Brothers Discovery as well because it controls the DC movie franchise like Batman.
It's got Game of Thrones, although both parties have kind of sniffed at those rumors and kind of done their best to quash them.
So Zaslav's out there doing his best.
a deal of some kind is going to happen.
Either Warner Brothers Discovery will break itself up or it'll get gobbled up.
So the bankers will be happy with their fees.
