Have we heard of Neon Odyssey?

So this is from, do you remember the Crooked Moon Kickstarter, which did like 4 million a couple of years ago, from Adventurous Entertainment?

They describe it as a neon-soaked science fantasy space opera.

Yeah.

Inspirations are Star Wars and Cowboy Bebop.

Yeah.

So this is basically, it's powered by D&D 5e.

So this is going to be hitting Kickstarter later this year.

Almost certainly going to do incredibly well.

It's going to be three books.

So we've got an Outrunners handbook.

Very, very different to the Voidrunners handbook.

It contains player rules and character building guides.

Yeah, yeah.

We've got a Cosmic Codex, which details their campaign setting, which is called the Stardust Rhapsody campaign setting.

It's just a bit of a Bowie Queen, Bowie slash Queen kind of combo there, Stardust Rhapsody.

I mean, are you surprised in any way?

no i suppose not i suppose no no it's like yeah i mean that's that's the soundtrack that they're going for why not yeah and then we've got overdrive expansion which is going to have optional rules for professions and racing and stuff um so they're going to take all of the classic dnd character classes and reimagine them under new names with 40 subclasses 30 species and 300 plus alien monsters
